How I Became A Programmer

At the age of 10, I began my journey into programming, thanks to an incredible opportunity at an institution in Ghana called Kids College. This course introduced me to the world of coding, where I learned the basics of programming and web development. The experience ignited my passion for technology and provided me with the skills I needed to grow as a young coder.

Throughout my school years, I had the support of my teachers, who encouraged my curiosity and creativity. I was also fortunate to be guided by two amazing facilitators, whose expertise and mentorship helped me build a strong foundation in coding. Alongside my close friends, Emmanuel and Jason, I started creating websites. We collaborated on various projects, each one pushing us to develop more complex and functional sites.

Through hard work and teamwork, I was able to refine my skills and deepen my love for programming. Today, I look back at those early experiences with gratitude, as they played a crucial role in shaping my path toward becoming a passionate and dedicated programmer.

Challenges I Faced With Programming

At Kids College, I, Emma and Jason faced a variety of challenges while programming. Debugging complex errors was one of the major hurdles, as identifying and fixing issues in their code often required patience and problem-solving skills. Managing tight deadlines added pressure, making it difficult to balance their programming assignments with other responsibilities. Additionally, learning new coding concepts proved challenging, requiring extra effort and practice to fully understand. Collaboration presented its own difficulties. Emma and Jason occasionally struggled to communicate their ideas clearly, leading to misunderstandings and delays in completing projects.
